Garlic Rosemary Mashed Potatoes


8 lbs potatoes

4 cloves garlic

1 T dried rosemary

2 T green onion 

1 cup half and half

1 8oz bag of cheese

2 sticks unsalted butter


Cut potatoes into cubes. Boil potatoes until you can pierce easily with a fork. Heat butter and half and half until room temp then add to potatoes and mash. [I mashed in electric mixer] Add rosemary and garlic, then mix in cheese last. You can put back in the oven for a bit to brown the top. Add green onions for topping.
